The Weeknd‘s new album Starboy is set to drop in six weeks time. After debuting his single “False Alarm” a little over two weeks ago on the Saturday Night Live stage, The Weeknd is back to releases the official music video for the Martin McKinney, Ben Billions, Cirkut and Mano produced track. Directed by Ilya Naishuller, the new visual continues the cinematic trend of all of Abel’s past music videos, but this one is a little different as it is shot in first person.
The visual follows a bank heist in which the culprits are attempting an escape from the law. In the getaway attempt, the group of skull-masked robbers take a hostage and are on the run as they get in an epic shootout with the officers who are in pursuit. When it looks like they’ve cleanly gotten away, some trouble within the group breaks out and the ending is fatal for some.
The Weeknd’s Starboy album is due out on November 25th.
